Practice Areas

David Hackett is a partner and head of the firm's Corporate & Banking department and Intellectual Property/Information Technology group. He advises on all aspects of intellectual property law including trademark issues, copyright matters, software development, licensing and distribution and ecommerce issues. He also advises on telecommunications law and regulation in Ireland.

Education

Admitted as a solicitor in 1997

B.Comm. (Banking & Finance) (1992), University College Dublin

Membership of Chambers / Bodies

David is a member of the Law Society of Ireland and the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association.  In addition David is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the European Community Trademark Association (ECTA).  David also sits on the legal working group of the Irish Internet Association.
