Gavin is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate Department with many years of experience and expertise in corporate law. He specialises in domestic and international mergers, acquisitions and disposals, corporate restructurings and reorganisations, venture capital and private equity investments, joint ventures, management buy-outs and commercial contracts and agreements (such as shareholder, partnership, agency, distribution, supply, warehousing and logistics, service level agreements and terms and conditions of sale and purchase, online and offline). He also advises clients on disputes involving commercial contracts.
In addition, Gavin has broad experience in implementing members’ voluntary liquidations and particular expertise in corporate governance and compliance advices to directors and advises a number of clients on business strategy and commercial integration matters.
Gavin is also a qualified Notary Public.

Gavin contributes to an annual publication issued by the World Bank in Washington DC called “Doing Business” since 2005. He has also written a number of articles on a wide range of corporate and commercial issues, is a regular speaker at seminars in this area and has participated in a number of ‘road shows’ in the area of corporate governance.
Gavin is also a lecturer and tutor in the Law Society for the Commercial Law modules and has written a lecture paper currently in use by the Law Society on the topic of “Limiting the Vendor(s) Liability in an M&A Transaction.”
Gavin also sits on the board of a number of companies, charitable institutes and clubs.
