Gillian has considerable experience in all aspects of commercial real estate. Gillian’s specialisms include the leasing, acquisition and disposal of commercial, office and retail property and has a strong track record in the retail sector. Additionally, she has acted for both landlords and tenants in relation to leases of all types of real estate from industrial large distribution centres to retail spaces.  

She also specialises in property-based lending for both banks and borrowers, including security reviews and perfecting security and has extensive experience in acting for major banks and financial institutions on a broad range of acquisition, development and investment financings covering the full spectrum of real estate sectors, including: office, retail, industrial, hotel and residential accommodation.  

Gillian also works with our Corporate team in relation to the property aspects of M&A transactions

EXPERIENCE

Recent experience includes advising:  

• A major Bank in Ireland in the finance of a large portfolio of retail and industrial parks and development sites. 
• A range of retail clients on an ongoing basis in relation to all aspects of leasing including JD Sports, Holland & Barrett, Sky, QPark, Hickeys. 
• Finance Ireland on various finance transactions to include residential portfolios, industrial parks and investment portfolios.
