Maura Connolly

Maura is a Partner in Dispute Resolution Law and head of the Firm's Employment & Employee Benefits Law Group. She advises employers and employees on all aspects of employment law including contentious and non-contentious matters. Maura is experienced in civil litigation. She has represented clients in employment law tribunals and before industrial relations bodies.

Maura has advised on investigations and legal proceedings relating to regulatory breaches, corporate fraud and white-collar crime. She has advised on statutory investigations and directors liability for statutory offences. She has been involved in many commercial transactions and has considerable experience of employment law issues arising in the context of mergers and acquisitions.

Maura is a former Chair of the Law Society's Employment and Equality Law Committee (2012 to 2015). She is also a member of the European Employment Lawyers Association, the Employment Law Association of Ireland, the Association of Pension Lawyers Ireland and the Health & Safety Lawyers Association of Ireland.

Maura has made presentations to a number of bodies including Public Affairs Ireland, the Law Society of Ireland and to clients. She has published articles and commentary in the National media and has contributed articles to many publications relating to employment law. Maura also lectures to the Law Society's Diploma in Employment law.
