Addleshaw Goddard in Ireland provides an excellent and enriching programme for trainee solicitors. We look for people who are committed, practical and can develop the skills which are required to grow with our business.
Our programme is focused on your development to achieve the necessary legal skills required.
Each trainee will have 4 rotations in a number of the firm’s practice areas. You will receive an insight into what goes on within the assigned practice area, play an active part in the day-to-day life of the firm and work alongside solicitors and Partners on a wide and diverse range of cases.
A trainee will work with Associates and Partners to a team structure. Trainees will be given the support of and can approach any solicitor or Partner to assist in their development. Addleshaw Goddard is an all-inclusive firm. All solicitors are accessible to trainees. Because we recognise and value the importance of teamwork, trainees play an important role in the workplace.
Review / Development
At the end of each rotation trainees will be evaluated and be able to discuss their placement, progress and possible actions for next placements. Our aim is to help you become an excellent and motivated solicitor. We are looking for people to join the team who are as dynamic, driven and determined as the firm. People who are articulate and confident. People who relish a challenge and who can thrive with a diverse and demanding workload. People who are enthusiastic and easy to get on with.
Besides intensive on-the-job training, we will also provide you with in-house lectures and seminars on all aspects of law to help develop your knowledge while with us. We encourage trainees to develop their expertise with a view to enhancing their legal skills.
