With talk of winds as strong as Hurricane Charlie coming across the airwaves, a number of swimmers began to suffer cold feet and their unfaltering resolve was beginning to waver. But Barry O’Neill rounded the troops at 6 am on Wednesday morning and a record number of 16 people turned up for The Big Dip. Despite the gloomy weather forecast, the group beat the system and enjoyed a super morning in the Forty Foot. We’d like to congratulate the 16 hardy souls that turned up on the morning and in honour of the “EF SEA” team Eugene F. cartier uk Collins has made a donation to Barnardos world renowned childrens’ charity.
