James is an Associate in Dispute Resolution. He practiced as a Legal Executive for 14 years before qualifying as a solicitor in 2014. He has considerable experience in various aspects of litigation specifically commercial litigation and regulatory law. He has advised a variety of both national and international clients on litigation related matters including product liability, contractual disputes and professional negligence.
James has advised clients on regulatory matters, including professional conduct investigations, regulatory prosecutions and decision making, administrative law and legal proceedings. He has advised clients on aspects of alternative dispute resolution including arbitration and mediation.
James also has experience in corporate matters including oppression applications, derivative actions, shareholder disputes, applications to wind up companies and bankruptcy applications. He has represented financial institutions on various aspects including debt recovery proceedings, possession proceedings and applications to remediate security.
